Lost on the Darkside, edited by John Pelan. The Darkside series is uneven in general, but this edition was more good than bad.

Just finished Survivor in Death and just started Potraint of a Killer: Jack the Ripper, Cased Closed by Patricia Cornwell. It may be turn out to be complete bullshit, but I read everything I can about that particular case. Fascinating.

That sounds very familiar... Do you happen to know if that story was in Smoke and Mirrors? My memory is hazy at the moment, but I could swear I've read that one...

Noctuary- Yup. It was printed in the back of Neverwhere as an ad for Smoke and Mirrors.


Novakru- Nope. In involves a bargain hunter who hires a hitman to kill his wife...and things go from there. Amazing ending.

Phantoms, by Dean Koontz. Overall, my opinion of Koontz hasn't changed, but this was, in my opinion, one of his better efforts. Entertaining, some slightly creepy parts. Lit equivalent of a popcorn movie.

Lamb:The Gospel According to Biff,Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore

I picked this up awhile back,I read it,put it down,read other books,picked it up again.
Not as good as I thought it would be.

Servants of Chaos by Don D'Ammassa. Pretty good read, heavily inspired by Lovecraft's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth."
