Drowning Pool New Singer
Drowning Pool have confirmed they have a new lead singer after the death of Dave Williams.Jason Jones will be the new singer. I personally love these guys. I got to hang out with them on their bus getting fucked up till 4 in the morning, in Charlotte NC before the death of Dave. Very cool guys. Info http://www.drowningpool.com/

I met them before their first CD came out. I still have the sample CD they gave out before they opened for someone, I think it was Finger 11 and Boy Hits Car, back in Tally when I was at FSU. They were cool guys. Even though I still thought the guitarist looked l like a moron with that stupid haircut. I think my ankle was bigger than his thigh lol. I remember him coming in and taking a piss by me and talking to one of his friends about his brother (think it was a little brother) doing something recently that had annoyed him.
I still have the two song CD sample with Bodies and Tear Away on it that was handed out before they took the stage. I was sad to see the singer died. They were nice guys when I talked to them when people were ignoring them, and I had hoped they'd do well since they weren't assmunches with big egos. And for what it is worth, I think "Bodies" was a decent song and the guitar on "Tear Away" is very cool. I just never got around to buying their CD. "Breakkkkkkkkk......."

im a big fan but i think it is bullshit that they are still going to be drowning pool. they should stay together but change the name and not get a dave copy. start a new band. its reminds me of when the doors toured again. stuff like that pisses me off. it would be like alice in chains getting a new singer.
