Sin City (Recut and extended)...I don't know if it's because I hadn't seen the original version in a while or perhaps didn't examine the features carefully enough or something, but, I didn't notice anything "new"...maybe a few changes in colouring here and there, but then that could just be holes in the memory. Can anyone point out anything obvious in this version?
All the same, still a fucking brilliant film...only the hands-on work of Miller could've made this work so well. This one GLUES me...and finally, LOTS, and lots and lots and lots and lots of extra features, and that's just on disk 1. Good stuff.

Beowolf and Grendel
Very slow retelling of the famous Anglo Saxon poem. Gerad Butler is good, but the movie really drags along...and much of the "Dane-speak" dialogue is incoherible and that only adds to the boredom. Unless your a fan of the story you should have read in high school, I'd avoid this one.
