So...any good/bad dreams lately?
What's some other stuff that's stayed with you?

In short...there's a few....posting their entirety would take too long...
I had one a while back about my dog sinking into quicksand, a day before my family was due to go to the beach...that one was fucked.
Another one, I remember caving somebodys face in...something I had said in the dream had become literal, I guess I was just toying with the "what if" of the situation...hmmm...another was taking a piss in a public restroom, and when I exited, a figure of absolutely no detail (it's like they were blurry) stuck a gun in my face, said "bang" then shot me, at that point I woke up....oh, and a black leopard was one of those recurring things...it used to attack me, then just made appearances here and there.

Do any of you get that, familiar elements of locations of dreams? Or, things that always seem to happen?
Like the

yknow, you start in a mall then all of a sudden you're in a town, you don't know where the fuck you are, walk into a room, it's a pool, and back outside into a movie theatre that's always playing films that you've never heard of, that make no damn sense and when you sit down to watch it, what's on "film" becomes the dream itself...kinda like that
thing?
Occasionally I go back to my (main) highschool...but things are slightly different, like my mind has filled in the blanks for the stuff I can't quite remember? Other than that, I have a chinatown type place...it's not like the chinatown here, it's more like a giant underground place...really oldskool crappy looking setups, they look like they have really good food there, but I never get to eat it...that's another one of those things that seem to happen a lot...either you buy food, or see it, or have a huge chunk of cash...and somehow you never get to use it? Another one I have is vehicles...say motorcycles...every time there's one in my dream, I either can't start it, or it falls apart. With cars, I can usually get them going, but it always seems like there's a problem with them going too fast, or the brakes not working...
And water, anytime I'm near a large body of water in a dream, if I'm in a boat or not, I always fall in somehow...and it always seems to be miles to anything...ah, and pets/animals - they ALWAYS get lost...it's just weird how your dreams can always be completely different, just elements your brain revisits all the time?
You folks get this at all?

If anyone wants to look 'em up, there's actually some pretty good dream/nightmare threads that have occured in the past, I believe they're all in the general forum somewhere...they make for some interesting reading.

I will sometimes have dreams involving tiki statues. They are really interesting and weird, usually. They often start with me going about my business and suddenly I look around and notice that people have these tiki statues in front of their houses, or tiki faces have been carved into telephone poles and things...or tikis have been just sort of incorporated as a design motif in some neighrhood. Usually these dreams seem totally real...

I had a dream last night that was very realistic and the reaction I got from an unknown character in my dream disturbed me. I was walking along some type of unfinished building killing random people... I don't remember much from the beginning. All I remember is coming upon this older man with silver hair who was next in line to be killed. I started to strangle him and the smile on his face faded. Before long the man's face was turning a little blue and he started to whimper as tear welled up in his eyes. When he started to cry I let him go and emotions swam across his face. From confusion to relief which was the final expression on his face when I grabbed him by his collar, lifted him up, and then tossed him to his death. Not really a big deal normally... simple little dream. What disturbed me was how vividly I remember his crying and squeaking, how real it all seemed. I can even remember the unusual color his tongue had as he opened his mouth to try and beg me to stop. Anyway, I killed some people, unpacked an electric car from a giant cardboard box, and drove off the top of the building at the end.

lol, weird. Any idea why you were killing random people and can you at all remember his face/recognise the man? Would be good if we had a dream specialist doctor type person, they could try and give us answers as to what our dreams could mean.

There are a couple dabblers who float around...

Nope, just an old man I've never seen before.

Cool, interesting stuff dreams. They say the mind is the second most complicated thing in the universe (that humans know about). Really is quite bizarre/amazing.

Have you ever had any 'precognition' dreams, you know the type, something you've dreamt about actually happens at some point in the future.... be really spooky if you're walking down the street next week and come face to face with this old man
