Just for shits and giggles, since this thread has about 500 more IQ points than the entire general forum combined at this time:

BWIND - Phantasm: I understand why people don't like it, but I just find it so easy to love. Complete braindead, pretty entertainment.

SLASHERMAN - May: I really enjoyed this movie, though parts of it did make me roll my eyes. I didn't think the ending fit the first hour of the movie; maybe that's why our Norwegian friend hates it so much?

RODERICK USHER - High Tension: I've heard the ripoff story from the book. As a writer (although not near as accomplished as Rod) the inane twists did give my frontal lobe diarreah. I thought it had good atmosphere, though, and I was able to look past it and just mindlessly enjoy the gore and lighting

VODSTOK - Dungeons and Dragons: You've got me there. I can't think of a single thing good to say about this movie.

URGEOK - The Village: SPOILERS I think it would have been so much more effective if the monster would have turned out to be real. I really enjoyed the first hour of the movie, but the end left a horrid sour taste in my mouth. Take note, M. Night Whatshisfuckit; try just telling a story. People might like it:rolleyes:

NEWB - Saturday Night Fever: Oh, come on dude. It couldn't be worse than Urban Cowboy.

HAMMERFAN - 13th Child: Legend of the Jersey Devil: I've owned this movie for awhile and never watched it. I just have this horrible feeling that I'm going to agree with you...

MOTHMAN - Silent Hill: Awww, man. I normally dig your taste in movies, but this is one we're just going to have to agree to disagree on. I had a shitload of fun with it, and seeing Pyramid Head onscreen was just too much fun.

FLAYED - Boo: Terrible. I'd rather watch 100,000 copies of Exorcist II: The Heretic and then eat them than ever have to sit through this shit again.

RETURN - Jigsaw: Come on, it sounds like it's at least got to be a "So bad, it's good" type flick like Octopus II. Unless it's as bad as Boo. Which it's not. (It better not be anyway)

OMCDAVE - The Descent: Not only are you a pervert and you post too much, but you're the first person I've heard say a truly negative comment about this move.

BURNING IN HELL - Scream: I really dislike this movie, but I also knew everything that happened in it before I got to watch it. BTW, Posher hates you now.

ALKYTRIO - Hostel: I think we've been over this one 1,000 times (literaly) I don't hate it as much as most, but it was definately extremely underwhelming at best. Then again, I say this after only 1 viewing, so my opinion will probably change the second time around

CRABAPPLE - Sound of Thunder: Haven't seen or hear of it. Can't help you there, bro.

DESPARE - Undead: I can see why people hate this. I thought it was a lot of cheesy drunken fun, but I tend to be a little more forgiving than a lot of people. Take that as you will

PHALANX - Dog Soldiers: I just don't know what to say except it seems every horror fan has the movie they love that everyone else hates and the movie they hate that everyone else loves. This is obviously the latter for you. Even though I liked Ginger Snaps better (which most people seem to disagree with) I still think it's one of the best werewolf movies in the last 15 years.

ELVIS CHRIST - Undead: See Despares entry

_____V_____ - Leprechaun: Another one of those obviously cheesy movies that most people either love to hate or hate to love. I put this up with the Pupper Master. ___V___ apparently puts it out with his coffee grounds on garbage day. Cheese seems to be one of the most fickle kinds of horror; no one likes all of it, and we all have different things we enjoy about it. That's the fun about being part of a horror community. We get to discuss things like this. Between fighting, conversations about buttsecks and banning requests, of course.

PEASOUPINTHEEYE - Johnny Mnuemonic: Sounds reasonable

Yes, that is how it sounds. Thats why I bought it, thought it might be a decent little "laugh at the bad movie" kind of slasher.

It's not.

Not even remotely amusing. I suppose you could laugh at it of you were drunk enough, but watching it sober...just piss-poor filmmaking.

Totem came as a double feature on the disc...not quite as horrid, but still fucking awful.

Try Junior...not the Arnold movie, the low budget horror flick. Horrible.

I love cheese. A TON of the movies made in the 80s had cheese and they finished up in my watch-again list. Sometimes you just cant get enough of it. The God of em all, Evil Dead II, is my all time favorite in horror.

But Leprechaun...ICK!! I remember one of my friends made a glowing recommendation of the movie, and I chanced upon the entire franchise at a discount sale. Bought em off and popped the original one in. By the time it was over, I was like  and cursing the moment I bought the shit. Cheesiness? GOOFINESS!! IDIOCY at the SUPREME!! Grrrr...I would have bought a ticket to the Village for a G than watch this one! Trust me, it IS as bad as it sounds.

Sold em all off in the yard sale I had in Sept '06. Good Riddance!!

NEWB - Saturday Night Fever: Oh, come on dude. It couldn't be worse than Urban Cowboy.

At least Urban Cowboy had a cute Debra Winger in a cowboy hat.

not to mention Scott "The Keep" Glenn
