Pans Labyrinth, I was a bit dissapointed, I was expecting the movie to focus more on the fantasy world, and there were a few of the characters I found irratateing such as the mother and Mercede. And why was the mother there at the end when she didn't believe in magic or fairys?

The Descent. REALLY liked it. I wasnt a huge fanof the ending last night when we finished it, but it is starting to grow on me the more I think about it.

It is fantastic to see a movie where the person who was hurt by someone else did what we all wanted her to do :)

I saw this with Bob Clark (and John Saxon and Olivia Hussey) doing a Q & A two months ago. He said he didn't care about all the movies that followed directly from Black Christmas and found the attention flattering, except When a Stranger Calls which he correcly called a complete rip-off. He went so far to jokingly saw "fuck that movie" :p

The Dark Backward
Disgusting & Funny. Surprisingly enough, the only thing that really annoyed me was that Bill Paxton was almost TOO over the top with his character at times. Then again, it did make for a nice contrast with how dry Judd Nelson was. Definately original. Loved Wayne Newton!
