Wow! I knew it would be good and it didn't disappoint. Planet Terror was good and had me jump a couple times because it was pretty gross. However, I kinda like Death Proof more because I was more interested in the characters and I thought Kurt Russell was great. Both features were good though.

Don't wait for this movie to come out on DVD. You really have to go to the movie theatre to fully enjoy it.

Vanessa Ferlito is so hott!!

What an incredible time at the threatre. Individually I gave Planet Terror an 8/10 and Death Proof a 7/10. The "trailers" were all hilariously brilliant as well.

Due to the less-than-stellar box office this weekend, the Weinstein Company is planning on separating the two films and releasing them individually.

This will ruin the experience.

Go to the theater now or miss this once in a lifetime event!!!!!!

I'm shocked this movie didnt do great this weekend especially with the rave reviews. I don't understand why people would be more inclined to see the movie if they are individually separated?? That wouldnt make sense. Pay 10 bucks for 1 movie or pay 10 bucks for 2 movies.

The Easter holiday weekend is usually a family event. People going to the movies are more likely to go with family members...hence bad box office

I'm hoping that amazing word of mouth can bring this one back up in the next couple of weeks, so the Weinsteins don't fuck this thing up.

Tell everyone you know to go see it! We need more experiments like this in mainstream cinema. It fails when the "horror fans" out there won't get off their asses and go to the theater.

I want to see this film so bad now. I went to the movies to see 300 today and it had a trailer for Grindhouse. It looks awesom. When I 1st heard about this movie I was a little worried that they would be able to pull it off. It seemed like a risky idea to me but all ive heard are rave reviews. Im in Australia though so i have to wait til may 31st for its release.

My spoiler-free review

Planet Terror
- fucking awesome. Pure fetishistic sex-gore freak-out. Non-stop entertainment that will surely be a favorite film of many gorehounds here.

Deathproof - It kicks ten tons of ass when the cars are moving, but the "other stuff" that fills half the film is uninteresting at best. The ending is amazing and absolutely redeems the film, but it simply isn't as much fun as Planet Terror. I may have to see this one more than once to truly appreciate it, but it's cool.

The Trailers - Machete - Danny Trejo kicks ass, this is being turned into an actula feature. Thanksgiving is in hilarious bad taste Werewolf Women of the SS misfires completely (go figure) and **** (don't want to give away the name as it's the punchline) Edgar Wright's trailer is the most perfectly pitched element of the entire evening of entertainment. I'm still laughing about it.

All-in-all a fantastic night out at the cinema. The most bang for your buck you'll get all year.
Excuse my ignorance but which one is Tarantino and which is rodriguez?
