so, first i got asked last month to go up for a promotion at work. i didn't really want it because it was a much more responsbile position with more hours, etc. but, people said - oh you'd be great and it would mean more money so. . . whatever

so, i had to go and do interviews with the higher ups and meet with people in the office to talk about me moving into a supervisory position whatever. now i got called this morning and they decided to give it to someone with more experience. so - cool, no argument from me --- EXCEPT WHY DID THEY ASK ME TO PUT MYSELF UP FOR THE PROMOTION IF THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE???

plus the girl i was sort of seeing left town (i knew this was coming, but it doesn't make it easier)

Don't fret little monkey.......have a few cocktails this weekend and don't worry about your female troubles. Its a big world out there with lots of trees......you will find another hairy primate to fling shit with.

Sunday morning The HDC Oscar Awards roll out, so I ll be here for it (make sure you are too!), and then maybe going out...not yet decided.

I 'll take it from there, what freaking time is that in the U.K ?

I seariously have 5 different time zones I deal in at the moment and can't grasp it bar Melbourne, because that is the time I keep on my computer and the time here I have on my phone...
