Fear(s) of the Dark is on the In Theaters section of Sundance... it looks amazing but I don't know about spending 7 bucks on it because I'll later be buying it.

No it isn't. Penny Dreadful was a pathetic little movie. The main character was a whiney little bitch who was impossible to like. Her therapist was the worst therapist EVER. The rest of the characters were expendible- literally. There were no surprizes in the plot. It followed formula completely. Writing was banal. Production valuyes and treatment were about on the level of a Lifetime movie.

This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. |

I liked Penny Dreadful. :( I think that I went in with really low expectations and it exceeded them. It was a little gem.

Right at Your Door is great. I saw it a few months back and reviewed it then.

Thats a great little movie. Sean Penn is brilliant in it, and the script is really well done. Check it out for sure.

			Agree.

I haven't seen Dark Ride, Reincarnation & Unrest of After Dark Horrorfest 2006 but others from the same festival were some poor horror films indeed except The Abandoned...that was a good effort. Reincarnation sounds quite good. Added to the wish list.:)

As long as it truly focuses on panic and human horror, I think it should make a good film. We'll have to check it out sometime this weekend. |
