He probably got curious about the source material and read Hamlet. Then, in a bout of Shakespeare mania (a condition irreverently referred to as the Willies) he decided to end it all like his angsty Danish idol.

The fact I mentioned reading John Martin and Guy Cumberbatch in the 2nd part of my post might have lead you to believe I was being sarcastic..

Infact I was refering to your mention of Seduction of the Gullible (by John Martin).

Like a crowd of Japanese businessmen from a love hotel when they see their wives riding on King Ghidorah's back.

Well action movies influenced me in training in martial arts - which i did for 15 years - so yeah thye do have an influence.

Look at the amount of videos on youtube of kids hittign each other with steel chairs and doing swanton bombs of house roofs and tell me that prowrestling isn't the influencing facctor behind these video clips.

Its a complicated subject but a major part of it with younger audiences (in my opinion) is about postitive and negative role models in media...I think that something like Gansta Rap does perpetuate a lifestyle that is attractive to follow as does watching pro-WWE-Wrestling..

How ever, i think its hard for a child to associate/relate to characters like Jason/Ilsa/Freddy/Cropsey etc..

So i think media can influence how a child behaves but its not as simple as 'monkey see, monkey do' except with my monkey...
