Seriously, there are these leeches in Southeast Asia that somehow get up your nose and start sucking a lot of blood. I saw it on Natl Geo. It was horrible.

I hate clowns, stairs and sharks.

Though stairs I'm a bit more tolerant of then the other two.

Another one that kind of adds to it is when people don't understand the fucking concept of personal space. I mean shit, do they DRIVE like that, gently nudging the car in front of them? No.
Same shit should apply everywhere.

I couldn't agree more. I even wrote something about it one day. http://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/1412958

Fucking. Terrifying.

is it the fear of falling down stairs? like a sort of panic attack when you walk up them? i know people who freak out in elevators cause they're afraid that they'll stop and break down.

I don't like escalators, but stairs don't bother me.

Yes it is a fear of falling down them. Walking up or down them, more specifically down them though.... But sometimes when I'm walking up, I feel like I might fall backwards if my feet don't have good positioning.

It's pretty irrational, but I suspect it has something to do with a past life.

Likewise for my fear of sharks, since I live in the fucking desert (Hell aka AZ).

You need a shrink. I see a shrink. It's not so bad.

I think I have mentioned these here before...

The biggies:
Cars, well driving mostly (which no, I don't do) but I really, really don't like being in them at all. If I could avoid them completely, I totally would.
Fire

To a lesser degree:

Spiders, scorpions and dentists. And I have never liked clowns/clown dolls much, though its not really a phobia....I'm just....cautious because I know they can't be trusted.......;) I still blame Poltergeist for that one.
