Welcome, Freak.

Okay, we have five participants now so I ll be sending out the first batch of PMs.

And now for the curious-minded who want to know what this is about (before throwing their hats in), it goes like this :

• Each one of you will be asked to list NINE of your favorite choices - in movies, music, books, comics, TV shows & games.
  
• Each category is coded, from 1-9.
  
• A random category will be selected each time, and three choices (of three random participants) in that category will be in a showdown with each other.
  
• HDC sees, HDC calls. Even those whose choices end up in the showdown, will be allowed to vote in it. Each showdown will be a run to 5, so whichever choice reaches 5 first, wins.
  
• Your choice wins...you end up with 1 point. Ergo, +1.
  
• Your choice loses...you end up with -1.
  
• All of that is added up to the table of HDC Showdown, and then the eliminations begin. Till we find our eventual winner.

Sounds confusing? Its very simple, really. Just confirm your participation and go with the flow. :)

No prizes other than bragging rights of being the Winner of the Great HDC Showdown. :cool:

One more thing, the people who confirm first get to seal their choices. If your choice is similar to someone else's choice who has already sealed it, you will be required to change it. So hurry! :D

Another point to note, your choice(s) wont be revealed until the Showdown leaderboard is posted. That will be in-between a certain number of intervals among the Showdowns.

Just to reiterate, this is NOT on the lines of BR or Idol. Its a totally different cup of tea. Dont worry about the time factor for this. :)
