We (finally) got a new oven....that's right folks, I haven't spoken much about this because it was a pretty hard time, I've been confined to stove-top and foreman grill cooking for a little over a year now believe it or not...
Over the last few days we've made a few pizzas in there, bases made from scratch. From margarita style to like 15 toppings. Though last night I got what I really wanted. Baked potatoes. A big goddamn tray of baked potatoes...I can't say how much I missed them. So yeah this was us and a friend. We also stuffed (stuffing also made from scratch) two chickens, and cut up, segmented, and egg-dipped, spiced/coated two more. Had some green beans, and served it all with a chicken gravy we'd been cooking since the day before. Goddamn...I just kept eating and eating...lots of leftovers still. Next time we have a get together, it's pizza pies. Though I can't wait to throw together my baked green curry casserole again.
