We Are What We Are - 7.5/10 A well shot, intense, intriguing horror or serial killer movie with a nice thread of originality running through it. The Mexican Tourist Board won't be endorsing it anytime soon. This may sound weird but, I thought it had a similar vibe to Let The Right One In. Realistic and grim with a real 'matter of fact' parading of it's subject matter. You know, sucked any romance out that could've been included and just dealt with the bare bones.

SPOILERS Why did she need to escape from the helicopter in the end? Surely once the president recovered, he could tell them that Liev Schriber's (I know i butchered the spelling) character was really a terrorist or whatever. It just seemed pointless to me. Anyway i do hope that there is a sequel. |
