 I suppose "out there" is kind of subjective really, but if i was going to try to compare the series as a whole to one of Kings standard protagonist against the random evil personification story - then yes. In that respect it would be kind of out there because worlds revolve around/within worlds and ones bearings aren't always as straightforward and coherent. I can see someone who reads King possibly not getting into this series. It's quite cerebral, and too many people prefer that their thinking be done for them.  |
