Evil Dead 2: Still awesome

Leprechaun's Revenge: Typical SyFy material but a fun/stupid monster movie anyway

Magic (1978)
Thanks to Bob Grey and Dara for the rec!
I'll admit it was a little too slow placed but far intentionally funnier than I expected. Bit of a head wreck of a film this. It's weird you think things are going to happen and they do but then all of a sudden something major happens without warning and you're wondering if you missed a scene but you didn't. I don't think I can explain this but I'll try its almost as if the film is purposefully trying to misdirect the viewer's eyes as Anthony Hopkins' character does when he is performing. This is very clever and does indeed mess with your head. Also the dialogue between the lead and the dummy is lightning fast and parts of it just didn't seem to make any sense but that could be because there's far too much to take in one viewing but I'm not sure if I will watch it again cos of the uneven pacing that is very jarring to watch. All in all though I really wanted to see this film so I'm glad that I did because there really is nothing quite like it but some may find the viewing to be frustrating.

This is probably my favorite slasher of all time. Incredible, totally-nutso film.
