Can you help to identify 70s UK horror film, please?

Hi guys.

I wondered if you could help identify a horror film, please?

It was on TV in the UK in the late 70s. It was British, I think, and all I remember is that it involved people worshipping Satan and I think there was a pentagram on the floor inside an old house.

Not much to go on, I know, but the scariest part for me (being a child) was when someone walks down the staircase with a disfigured face. It frightened the living daylights out of me, and my parents had to console me by telling me it was just a mask.

It's a long shot, but hopefully some kind soul will be able to help. Thank you in advance!

Not sure if it completely fits everything you describe,but The Devil Rides out certainly had devil worship and a scenes with a pentagram on the floor.
