jesus ... alphabetization isnt even a consideration - just not possible.

i'm 'better' now but i was bringing home 20 - 30 DVDs a week for a while .. .and laserdiscs...

i actually filled my shelves - as of a few days ago i completely ran out of room and now have to employ the zwoti decimal system (put them in boxes and pray i remember where they are)

I was thinking about buying a DVD carrying case (like the cd ones), for space saver but then A lot of my dvds are collector editions and I really like the cases so I decided not to do it as of right now. The NEW TCM 2 disc I love that metal casing !

This site may be of some interest here. They've got some huge nice looking storage cabinets.

I usually alphabetize but I don't have that many DVDs. And it is a pain in the ass with all my CDs. When I have more I will probably sort by Genre then alphabetize.

I've not looked at the prices, only found the site a few days ago when searching for DVD storage ideas. They do free shipping for you guys, which I assume would be a big saving due to the size and weight of the things.

Deep discount do some really nice cabinets, ones that would look nice as pieces of furniture, and their not too expesive either.

I started using CD carry cases too. I put my cheapo vanilla disks. It'd be nice to find some carry cases that will hold the inlay covers too, without folding them up.
