This was the best theater experience I've had in a long time. If they split it, they're assholes.
I better go see it again before they ruin the fun.
Brilliant movie. The first story was my favorite, but the first crash sequence in Death Proof was BRILLIANT.
LOVE THIS MOVIE. It's pretty close to perfect in my opinion. I didn't even notice how numb my butt was until I got up to leave.:p

the trailers were the best part.
Machette is suppose to be made into a real film now.
and so will Edgar Writes Don't. Haha Don't was awsome. Excactly like an Italian horror movie trailer.

Hi.

I've just launched a new Tarantino website - providing the very latest info about Grindhouse.

(I hope you don't mind if I promote my site a bit )

I just saw "Grindhouse" yesterday and it was FANTASTIC!! I did fell asleep during the talk marathon on "Death Proof" but once Kurt Russell was let loose it was fun 'till the end, and wait until you see that ending girls! I never experience real "Grindhouse" movies, I went to see it because of my husband and I kept asking him questions and he kept telling me not to worry, I was going to have fun, and I really did.

Planet Terror was the best, from begining to end, but the whole package was worth the price. The "Coming Attractions" are so fantastic you want to see those crappy movies, you will never see a girl bouncing on a trampoline the same way again. I think the movie open at the wrong weekend, so hopefully this week it will pick up, and there is also talk about spliting them up and trust me, it won't be the same, so put on your astronaut approve diaper and see them before they split them up!

I had a smile almost the whole time, I didn't mind QT's dull moments as much as most but one in particular (when the four women are driving in the car while they're all on break) was all but nap inducing. Anyway, A- for the whole, you just can't get that kind of entertainment for the money any more.

Finally got to watch it on Thursday night. And I am impressed. Death Proof was a bit of a drag but fun to watch.

4 out of 5 stars.

Looks like everyone will have finished watching it by the time it gets released in India. I enquired earlier today and was told that it is rumored to be releasing here after a month, and that too with a lot of cuts, to suit the Indian audience's tastes. Hell, looks like the good parts will all be gone.:( The only option remaining is for the DVD release, hopefully uncut and in a single film pack, and not as two films.

I just got back from the showing. Quite frankly I enjoyed the trailers more than the movies. Planet Terror was pretty kick ass but Death Proof was a disappointment. The car scenes were bad ass but all in all it was quite a bore. I am slightly disappointed with Grindhouse. Don't get me wrong, it was a blast but it wasn't what I expected. But hell, as long as Fergie is in the movie its got my vote; damn, she's fine.

SPOILERS::

-Am I only one who found the scene where the kid blew his head off a bit disturbing. It was only for a split sec and than I got over it but when I first heard the gun go off that freaked me out a tad. I think it's because very rarely do you see kids die in movies especially like that.

-Also, did yall laugh in Planet Terror when they all got a ride and the one guy got that little bike. Maybe it was just me but that shit had me goin.

What was your favorite trailer? I have to go with "Don't". I've never laughed so hard at a movie theatre in my life.
