Lighthouse Worth Checking Out

I'd just like to recommend a little known British movie I've just seen on dvd which was surprisingly very good.It's called LIGHTHOUSE and is very violent with some excellent effects considering the fairly low budget I imagine it was made with.
It's about a prison ship that is transporting various convicts when it suffers from a loss of radar in rough seas at night.Meanwhile one of the prisoners on board,a deranged serial killer,escapes via one of the lifeboats.He makes it to the nearby island where he knocks out the lighthouse.The ship then hits the rocks leaving the survivors to face the psychopath on the island.

I did'nt like this movie much at all myself, but others might ...
