Question Does anybody know of this short TV horror movie???

I was hoping somebody on this forum might possibly be able to help me out. I have been searching on the internet for years it seems trying to find the name and details of a horrow short I saw on TV a long time ago. I keep telling people about it and I would love to see it again but I have no idea how - if it was from a series or whatever.

What I remember:

a female cop and her partner are pursuing mugger down an alley and the partner gets shot. The girl leaves her partner and chases the thief into some disused factory building and ends up in the living room of some weird elderly couple. She asks them if they have seen anything and they act strange and say no - this bit a little hazy - somehow she ends up getting pushed down a shoot and falls into a huge cavern on top of a pile of bodie parts surrounded by a lake of blood/guts etc.

Just as she gets her bearings she realises she is sitting on top of what remains of her partner and he is still alive enough to tell her to watch out for the things on the top of the cave - weird pterodactyl like creatures. Sure enough they swoop down and start attacking her. Eventually she wakes up in hospital and it has all been a dream. The doctor tells her her parents are here to see her but when they come in it is not her parents but the weird couple from the beginning, she starts to freak out. To top it all off the couple fling the sheets back to reveal she has lost her arms and her legs.

Now I either had some weird dreams as a kid or I actually saw this late one night. It was definitely American and probably from early nineties.

Does this sound familiar to anybody, I would really appreciate it if somebody might be able to tell me what this was as would like to see it again.

Thanks.

No I'm pretty sure it wasn't x-files - it was a one off thing, the main character was NYPD or something like that.

tv short

OK I could be wrong, but, that sounds a heck of a lot like the Necronomiccon. Think back. Does a man looking a lot like hp lovecraft walk into an odd looking vault to conselt a book and the stories oreginate from there? Sorry to be so vauge, but I am sure that was the name of the show.

Mate, that is it! I just checked out the trailer off IMDB, it looks ridiculous but I'm still going to buy it- thanks again, that's been the biggest "name I can't remember" annoyance. Brilliant.
