Dying too young

Not sure what inspired me to look this up. But I brought out my high school yearbook when I was a Senior. We had 7 kids die that year. 5 were from deadly car accidents, one of them I saw. Two were from trying to save other classmates from drowning. The classmates they saved lived, they did not. I don't even know why I think of this sometimes, but it always makes me cry when I do. Life is just so fucking weird.

"Those who fear death, are afraid of living."

We are all going to die sometime, yes, some are more unfortunate than others, but there is no point in contemplating about life's tragedies.

If you're afraid of dying, you're also afraid of living. I know, it's one big cliché, but it's true nonetheless.

2 people died trying to save someone else from drowning???? 2????

I would have guessed the odds of 2 people from 1 graduating class dying in that particular manner to be astronomical.

Only 1 guy from my high school class has died so far and that was a couple years after graduation from a known heart issue he had. My graduating class was of about 500.

I have known more than my fair share of people who committed suicide though... 1 jumper, 1 shooter, 2 hangers, 1 car exhaust, and 1 that actually laid himself in front of an oncoming train!

Says who? Some people got it made after they die! I hear those terrorists are greeted at the pearly gates by a harem of virgins.

My childhood best friend died last month. He was 19. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but it's never really expected, is it?

Only one person from my graduating class has died. Drug overdose, or so the rumor says. They never really gave us details.

I hope that they find that you're a compatible donor. I'll keep you and your brother in my thoughts and prayers.

I've only known two people my age (when I was in my 20s) who died: one was a car accident, the other a suicide. They were both people I was stationed with when I was in the Air Force.
