Ed Gein on YouTube
One of A&E's best Biography episodes. Has a lot of rare footage of the Butcher of Plainfield. It's amazing how little this guy did(2 murders), to inspire so many films.
Give it a watch. It's well worth it for crime buffs. He only killed two, but his house was a butcher shop because he robbed graves. The sheer perversion he displayed along with the time period it happened in is why he has had such staying power and universal... "appeal"?

Probably closer to a SlimJim factory, as most of his "acquisitions" had been dead for a while.

Well, he spawned some great movie characters.
