				Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Just picked this up at Target. It caught my eye. Basically its the original P and P only with zombies added into the story. Haven't read it yet but I will starting tomorrow. Anyone else see or read this?

I've been stuck about 1/3 of the way through this book for months. It's a great idea, but the execution is pretty weak, I think. It's just not that exciting. It may be that I don't love Jane Austen in the first place, but this didn't really work for me. I hope I'll get to finish it at some point. Sam |

That's exactly how I feel about it... I think you need to be both an Austin fan AND a zombie fan to enjoy it... Unfortunately I'm only 1/2 of the equation (zombies, not Austin).

i didnt like the gimmick of taking something established (and non-horror) and forcing in zombies. i can appreciate an attempt at something different ... but i wasnt convinced to pick this one up. |
