Horror Movie budgets, college investigation!
Hello there fellow horror movie fans, I am conducting an investigation for me A2 Film Studies coursework and I am looking into why horror movies have such a large low-budget audience.
I am also looking into why horror movies recieve lower budgets than other films, all help will be greatly appreciated and if I quote you you WILL be acknowleged :D Feel free to answer even if you have no evidence, opinions are just as important as facts! :cool:

It's probably the myth that all horror fans are poor dumb rednecks, that will watch anything. That has lead the low budget, poorly made horror movies.
