Legendary Picks Up "Dark Ghostbusters" Story Spectral
Source: Heat Vision November 4, 2011 Ian Fried has sold Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures on his story Spectral. Heat Vision says it's a "dark" and "gritty" take on the Ghostbusters formula. In Spectral, a special ops force - trained in hunting the supernatural - go up against ghosts that have taken over Manhattan. Fried got some Hollywood attention over the summer when his Florence Nightingale and Jack the Ripper script, Gaslight, made the rounds.
