I started reading Fango from issue 51,many many years ago.But after 150 i stopped.Even now i occasionally (once every two years) buy it but do not get the same buzz as i once did.
I never liked the way they where heading, into Buffy territory and the godamn Twlight shit. Not the whole mag i agree but i just lost interest in the articles. |

Actually I think I have like 200 issues of Fangoria bagged and boarded downstairs in some boxes. It's been a long time since I read any of them or have even seen one in a store. I know I have like the first 100 issues, then I only started getting ones that had movies I actually cared about. I probably quit collecting them around 2003-2004.
I never had any Gorezone though.

you guys need to pick it up again and have a look - it's changed radically in the last 3 years - since the new editor took over from Timpone.
Nothing but great buzz now ... |

Still got a bunch of early Fangos but sold off my Gorezones. Loved the posters that came with Gorezone.
Do they do digital editions? Been reading a lot of stuff on my tablet lately since the US postal rates went up. EDIT: I wonder if Toxic Horror will make a comeback too? Last edited by Elvis_Christ; 12-18-2013 at 05:40 AM. |
