If you're into Asian horror movies -- and a lot of us are these days -- this weekend may be a good one. The most popular Thai horror movie of 2004, "Shutter", has been remade in English and opens in U.S. theaters on Friday. The "Shutter" remake is directed by Japanese horror director Masayuki Ochiai and co-stars Megumi Okina (from the original Japanese "Ju-on") along with Australian actress Rachael Taylor and Canadian actor Joshua Jackson. It's an international horror festival, all in one film!
Like the original, the 2008 version of "Shutter" focuses on a young couple who find mysterious shadows in photographs developed after an accident. The photographs -- and the shadows -- lead them down a road they never expected to travel.
Horror.com recently sat down with Rachael Taylor and Joshua Jackson to find out about the film and about their experiences while making it. Here are Jason and Rachael:
