The Scoop On Christian Bale As "The Machinist"

A Horror.com member reports that Dark Horizons linked to the new poster for "The Machinist", a thriller starring Christian Bale and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and directed by Brad Anderson ("Session 9").

According to Filmax, the movie is about a lathe operator (Bale) who is literally dying of insomnia. Not having slept in a year, he puts his life at risk around heavy machinery - but greater dangers lurk. The movie tagline is "A little guilt goes a long way..." What's the movie about really?
