1)  What was it about the role of Ching in Koma that made you want to play her?

Lee: She is quite different with the roles I played previously. Those roles I played previously felt like more as a young girl. But Ching was just like a woman. Also, her characters and looks were quite different with the real me.

2)   How much of the real you is in that character?

Lee: Being kind and not going to hating anyone. Will take care of someone because of sympathy.

3)  Did you bring some different facets to the character, or did you stick pretty close to the shooting script?

Lee: In a few scenes. Because the director wrote that role to be too delicate and weak, I wanted to give more characters and my own thoughts into the role.

4)   In preparation for your role, did you do any research on illegal organ harvesting, and about people who are living with kidney failure?

Lee: Before the shooting stated, the production company arranged me to meet a young girl with kidney illness. And I found the complicated physical and psychological status of my role, Chi Ching, from her. Their inferior feelings, lack of security, the eager of love, being considerate and moody… all are very similar to Chi Ching.

5)  In this movie, you have to be in ice, on ice, underwater, in the rain, etc. How do approach such physically demanding movie shoots?

Lee: I enjoy the challenge. This is essential to be an actress.

6) You were excellent in The Eye, and you are also totally believable in Koma the first movie deals with the supernatural, while the second one is a more straightforward thriller. Please tell me which aspects of each genre scares you the most.

Lee: I’m not sure.

7)  You and your costar, Kar Yan Lam, go through so much together in this movie. Had the two of you worked together before, or known each other?

Lee: This is the first time we worked together. We didn’t know each other before. We just knew that we were both part of the movie industry.

8)  What was it like to work with your director, Lo Chi-leung?

Lee: Lo Chi-leung is a very serious and demanding person. He handled the sentiment aspects very carefully. He is more serious then usual when shooting.

9)  What is your favorite scary movie of all time?

Lee: The Silence of the Lambs. It’s because of the acting of the actor, Anthony Hopkins. He didn’t need to make any words. You will feel frightened with just a look on him!

10)  What are some of your upcoming projects?

Lee: I just finished my latest horror film, Re-cycle, and Ill go to Shanghai to shoot my new film, As of Love, soon.
